As an interior designer for nearly 20 years, Denise Morrison couldn't help but notice a huge disconnect in the home furnishings industry.
Why were people with a passion for interior design being forced to shop from big-box retailers with a one-size-fits-most mentality?

This question ignited a passion, and lead to the founding of Denise's first retail store, House of Morrison - an interiors boutique dedicated to searching out the world's most beautiful and highest quality pieces for your home.

All of our fabrics are hand selected by Denise and reflect her designer perspective.
Carefully curated from around the world, the goal was to create a cohesive palette where each selection complimented each other.
The fabric collection consists of natural materials, namely linen, with some blends to improve performance and aesthetic.
Please keep mind that fabric dye lots may vary and a cutting for your approval can be provided if requested.

We use 100% top grain leather for all our applications.
Markings are inherent to hides and are in no way considered a flaw or a detriment to the strength or wearability of the leather.
Signs of natural beauty include branding marks, scratches, scars, etc.
Our leathers show the life of the hide making them all the more desirable.

Our wood finishes come in a variety of colors and styles to be able to accommodate incorporation into a multitude of home styles.
House of Morrison offers oak in four stains that subtly enhance the grain in this sleek hardwood.
We also have reclaimed woods that beyond being environmentally friendly, they are perfect for use in a relaxed atmosphere.
They show the character of the wood a bit more than the more refined oak.
Lastly, we have the alder woods.
Alder is a less expensive option to use for bases, legs, etc. where the wood is not the main event.

This fill consists of a high resilient foam seat cushion using 2.8 density foam with a triple wrap of polyester.
Plush is a luxurious but practical form of construction.
Our seat cushion consists of 50% polyester fibers, 45% white feathers, and 5% down envelope surrounding a 2.0 high resilient foam core.
The polyester fibers add a nice spring to the cushion allowing for the luxury of comfort without the maintenance of a full down cushion.
Our 10/90 Feather Down fill is a seat envelope consisting of 10% white goose down and 90% feathers.
