One of many historic textiles mills around the piedmont region that we reclaim our old growth flooring and beams. This 400-year-old wood was used as structural floor supports in the textile mills across North Carolina. We source wood from the Piedmont Carolina area which is known to have some of the best heart pine in the growing region. Virgin Longleaf Pine once covered nearly 70 million acres of the United States' southeastern coastal plain.
Many of these trees reached heights of 175 feet, and took from 200 to 500 years to mature. Respect for all that a tree offers has always been our passion, and this is guiding principle in our business model. Reclaiming and bringing back to life the true natural beauty of a tree so that it is seen, felt, and loved again in a different light and form is what brings out the inner child in all of us.
