All of our dining tables are created with reclaimed Colorado wood and hand made in Colorado.
We feel the extreme environment that the trees grow in makes the wood more stable in dry conditions while also adding additional character.

Alpine Blue Home was created in 2015.
It was born out of a desire to bring locally made, hand made custom furniture in a friendly environment.
Our name comes from the blue stain fungus that has attacked the pine trees in our majestic Colorado forests.
This fungus unfortunately kills the tree, but leaves behind a beautiful blue color in the body of the wood.
Another name for this wood is Beetle Kill Pine.
We chose to honor these trees by including blue in our name.
Alpine Blue Home uses only wood from trees that were dead prior to harvest.
