Office Furniture Connection was founded by Bill Perin who grew up in his family's business, Gibson & Perin Company, which sold business products and provided printing services since 1893.
As Bill watched the office product industry rapidly change in the 1990's, he realized office supplies and printing were better left to the "big guys" that had consolidated into mega roll-ups, but the big box companies couldn't do office furniture right.
He saw an under-served niche and an opportunity he could fill by opening office furniture stores that offered quality, affordable new and used products.
