Towne & Country Furniture has been family owned and operated since 1967.
He renamed it Quality Furniture.
Quality Furniture was located at 905 Davis Avenue.
In March of 1968, Mr. Van Devender opened a second location called Discount Furniture Co.
Later that year, Quality Furniture was relocated to 502 Dauphin St.
In 1972, the two stores merged into one and became Quality Furniture Co.

Standard Furniture Manufacturing was founded in 1946.
American owned, Standard Furniture operates headquarters, manufacturing and distribution facilities in Bay Minette, AL, with sourcing operations offshore as well.
Standard has nearly 750 employees with its domestic and overseas operations combined.
With more than 80% or the company's workforce based in the US, 1.4 million square feet of manufacturing space, 1.5 million square feet of warehouse space and a fleet of 40 trucks, Standard is able to provide delivery options to meet any retailer's needs.

Items will be ordered and stocked for pick up or delivery when paid in full to meet the time criteria for our customers.
Customer service must be notified 3 to 4 weeks prior to pick up in order to receive merchandise on a timely manner.
