The Juliana Group was formed in 1993 by three educators at the Juliana Hotel in downtown San Francisco. The founder's primary goal for Juliana was to offer high quality materials at reasonable prices. Gonzagarredi, the Italian manufacturer of Montessori materials, was chosen as the source of quality didactic materials and unique classroom furniture because it was the original creator of AMI approved materials and furniture for Dr. Montessori and has maintained a superior standard of quality over the years.
Gonzagarredi Manufacturers are located in Gonzaga, Italy. Gonzagarredi is one of only two European manufacturers that produce Montessori materials that meet the rigid standards of Association Montessori Internationale (AMI). We sell wooden classroom furniture specifically designed for the Montessori classroom. It meets the most rigid environmental and safety requirements making it functional, durable and safe for young children.
