Together we will design a piece of furniture that is specific to your needs, to the space it will reside, and will go with the rest of your furniture. Your new piece of furniture will be locally made from real wood and it will not be 1 of a batch of 1000 units. Whether you are starting with a specific need, from just an idea, or you have an existing piece of furniture that needs some attention, we can help you with any of these situations.

We can start with a photograph or drawing you bring in and build a piece of furniture that matches exactly the style, color, and type of wood you need to fill that specific space in your home or office. Instead of starting from the ground up, we start with your existing furniture and resize, reshape, or redo it to make it work better for you current situation.

Maybe it's time for that family piece of furniture to get a good cleaning and some TLC. Or maybe the antique chair needs a 50 year tune-up to reglue the joints that have gotten wobbly. We can do that too!.
Services
My name is Craig Mann, and I live and work in Brownsburg Indiana, a suburb of Indianapolis.
I am largely self-taught as a woodworker.
Prior to starting Paradigm Furniture, I worked 4 years at a local antique restoration and repair business learning as much as I could about refinishing and repairing antiques.
In 2004, I opened Paradigm Furniture Design.
Each project is an opportunity to learn something new, whether it involves refinishing a family heirloom or building a new piece from scratch.
Timeless techniques are used to produce a piece of furniture that will exceed all of your expectations.
In our Gallery, we will show you examples of our past projects in each of the main categories:.

These are transformations.
These are examples of some of the starting points for our transformation pieces.
To get an estimate for your custom piece, we begin the process with a series of steps that help to visualize what the final piece will look like.
We take your inspiration photo and the basic dimensions for your piece to make the first drawing on the computer.
This final drawing is then used to generate a materials list and develope the rest of the estimate for your project.
If the customer approves the final design, a 50% deposit is collected to put the project in the cue, a few weeks later the project is delivered.
