Renesting Project, a volunteer powered community furniture bank, born and based out of Bossier City, LA, currently offers services to the clients of 40+ partner organizations in Caddo & Bossier Parishes. Together we serve a very diverse cross section of our community: school children, mentally or physically disabled persons, domestic violence survivors, homeless Veterans, among others.
Our goal is to improve the quality of life of those we serve as they transition into permanent housing by providing basic furniture and household items needed to function with dignity. Because Renesting Project, Inc is a non-profit, we accept monetary and tangible donations of furniture and household items.
With community support, Renesting Project, Inc. continues to serve as this area's community furniture bank, providing furniture and household goods FREE OF CHARGE to hundreds of men, women and children in need each year, in the Shreveport and Bossier City, LA area.

Services
Historically, Renesting Project served homeless clients of social service agencies by providing furniture and household goods as they transitioned into permanent housing.
Our faith based program, Olive Branch was created in an effort to serve families and individuals that were transitioning from homelessness but had a source of income, either through employment or supplemental income.
Our Sweet Dreams Program offered NEW mattresses, box springs and bed frames to a limited number of applicants through the Renesting Project and Olive Branch Programs.
