Not only gliders but locking gliders and swivel gliders too.
A locking glider is really a good idea.
When you are ready to get up out of the glider you move a lever and and it locks the chair in position.
This allows you to push off and out of the chair without the glider moving away.
Perfect for days when your knees hurt or your have a baby in your arms.
You can even put your feet up on the matching ottoman, lean back, lock yourshelf into position and take a quick nap!
