Our Vermont made furniture features: face frame construction for extended durability, individually fit dove tailed drawers for beauty and stability, solid one piece drawer fronts for beautiful unbroken grain pattern, European side mount adjustable drawer slides for ease of roll, strength and long life, hand laid, grain and color matching for beautiful natural wood appearance, and finally, a catalyzed lacquer finish that offers the top durability standards of the American Kitchen Cabinet Association.

The goal we strive for when we design our furniture is to achieve a beautiful long lasting, heirloom quality piece of furniture at the most affordable price possible.
The face frame serves the same function as closing the lid on a cardboard box.
Without the face frame a case has no structural rigidity across the front of the piece and in time a piece becomes weak and wobbly.
Though time consuming to make, we firmly believe in this structural piece.
Frame and panel door construction allows the door panel to expand and contract during high and low humidity seasons of the year without warping the door as a whole.

A: Our furniture goes through several stages of sanding.
Then several coats of a clear catalyzed lacquer are applied, hand rubbing with 00 steel wool between each coat.
Finally a past wax is rubbed onto the surface.

A: Wipe with a damp cloth for cleaning.
Periodically, especially on horizontal surfaces reapply a clear paste wax (sold in most lumber and hardware stores).
