The company, which is owned by three brothers who grew up in Westport, Connecticut, was founded by David Ross in 1984.
As a high school student David started a swimming pool service company. Business grew quickly, and his brother Phillip joined him as they became the first Connecticut pool service company to open a retail location. Shortly thereafter, a second retail store was opened in Greenwich. Over the past 10 years, Patio.com has continued to expand and open new stores on a regular basis.

All orders will ship complete unless you are otherwise notified by a Customer Service Representative.
For residential shipments, you will be contacted by the shipping carrier to schedule a delivery appointment.
Most companies offer appointment windows (usually 2-4 hours) between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
Please refer to "Receiving and Inspecting Merchandise" for more information on how to receive and inspect your delivery.
If you are ordering a very large item, please keep in mind that you may need several people to help move it to the final destination.
