In the late 70's, while in the military, I got a part-time job doing furniture refinishing.
This led to a partnership in the personal home furniture business with a retired military gentleman.
He decided to leave the area to allow his wife to follow her career and I became the sole person in charge.
Since I was halfway through my military career I transferred to the Air National Guard so I could make a business move to own the business one day.
After a devastating fire which destroyed our main building, I became sole owner of the business.
