At P.M. Sleep Center, we have a wide selection of mattresses and offer a unique selection of stylish, contemporary, and classic furniture. In 1981, P.M. Sleep Center was founded in Eau Claire, WI by Pat and Mike Bloss. Thus, the initials, P.M. Before opening P.M. Sleep Center, Mike spent ten years in all phases of the mattress business including retailing, manufacturing, mattress design, and distribution.
By the early 1980s, the waterbed business was between 30-40% of the sleep products industries. Pat and Mike opened P.M. Waterbeds in Eau Claire, WI. P.M. Waterbeds had stores in Duluth, MN, Winona, MN and was affiliated with stores in La Crosse, Milwaukee, and the Twin Cities. In 2008, P.M. Sleep Center purchased a 40,000 square foot building on Eau Claire's south-west side.
We divided the building into four retail outlets with P.M. Sleep Center occupying 32,000 square feet. Today P.M. Sleep Center & Furniture Gallery is the areas only major, locally owned and non-franchised furniture and mattress store.
