We are still in the original building, conveniently located with our own private parking lot, and two entrances. Martin Furniture and Design is famous for having the largest selection of La-Z-Boy recliners in Northeast Georgia, and our Jamison line of mattresses is second to none.

The year was 1945.
Times were tough and frustrating for everyone.
But three men, Guy, Cliff and Johnny Martin, a dad and his two sons, had good heads, big hearts and strong backs.
This was the nucleus that was the beginning of Martin Furniture and Design.
Located in beautiful downtown Gainesville, Georgia, Martin Furniture and Design had its birth in the same historic building in which it resides today.
In fact, it was one of the few buildings that survived the F-4 tornado of 1936, the 5th deadliest one in U.S. history to date.
