Chafin's Chair Caning

Thank you for your interest in our services. Chafin's Chair Caning has been serving the Southeast for over 20 years. We're located in Arab, Alabama but have clients in Tennessee, Georgia, Mississippi, and Florida as well. We offer chair caning and minor furniture repair services. Chair caning materials include hand cane (7-step French method), pressed cane, binder cane, flat reed, fiber rush, flat fiber, seagrass and shaker tape.

Please see our photos for examples of our most commonly used materials. Repair services include gluing loose joints, replacing/repairing broken rungs (unfinished parts necessary for weaving a new seat), and reinforcement of broken or weakened parts. If we are unable to perform the type of repair you need, we can refer you to a qualified repair service.
