In 1998 while traveling home from his wife's soccer tournament in Sun Valley, Idaho, Chris Gochnour took a chance and penned his first submittal to Fine Woodworking, the nation's premier woodworking magazine.
His article, "Pegged Post-and-Beam Knocks Down, " was accepted and in that same year Taunton Press asked Chris to be their featured guest at the International Woodworking Fair in Atlanta, Georgia.
Since then he has become a contributing editor to Fine Woodworking, authoring over 75 feature articles, Q &As and tool reviews and being filmed for features on the Web.
