Ragan's Friendly Neighbor Store is a family owned local full service furniture store located in downtown Dickson since 1962. Many of the products we sell are made in America and more specifically the State of Tennessee. We stock and special order such quality name brands as Ashley Furniture, Jackson Catnapper, Coaster, Frigidaire, Best Home Furnishings, Serta, Southerland Mattress (made in Nashville), Home Elegance, Tennessee Enterprises and more.
We also stock and special order repair parts for appliances. Our local service area includes Dickson, Hickman, Humphreys, Houston, Cheatham Counties and surrounding areas. Our showroom covers two stories across two buildings where we display a variety of furniture, appliances, and bedding. Free local delivery and haul-off is available on most items we sell.

Born and raised in Dickson County with deep local roots, Henry V. and Nancy Ragan moved back to Dickson in 1946 where 26 year old Henry opened his first business, Henry V. Ragan Plumbing and Heating Company in downtown Dickson near the corner of W. Walnut and S. Main Streets.
His 10x10 building included his office, shop, and warehouse.
Later he founded Ragan and Hamilton General Contractors with his brother-in-law, Vernon Hamilton.
The business which expanded into American Maintenance and Service Corporation was located on Church Street in the 1950's.
