In the beginning Dave's focus was on kitchen cabinet refinishing and antique furniture restoration.
Since then he has been inspired by the natural beauty of wood and the craftsmanship of the vintage Antiques that he restores.
In 1987 Dave moved The Refinishing Shop into the current building in Historic Old Town Overland Park and has been servicing the Kansas City metro area with a wide range of products and services ever since.
