All Precedent frames are made from wood that has been grown in the US and certified by the Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI).
SFI in an independent, third-party organization who certifies that the wood has been grown and harvested in a responsible manner.
SFI certification requires that growers take necessary steps to keep our streams clean, prevent soil erosion, encourage reforestation, and protect wildlife.
SFI certification assures consumers that the wood products they are buying do not contribute to the destruction of the worlds forestlands.

Each type of cushion is created with your comfort in mind.
We select a standard cushion for each style, but optional cushion types are available on many styles.
A cushion that features a Marshall spring unit which is encased in a high resiliency urethane core.
Then a soft-cell foam layer is applied to the top and bottom and is sewn into a ticking.
A combination of premium urethane foam with a soft cell foam layer applied to the top and bottom, then sewn into a ticking.
Each type of cushion is created with your comfort in mind.

Also, fluctuating temperatures can cause wood to swell and shrink, so an environment with consistent temperature/humidity is recommended.
