Form + Function is a Los Angeles boutique manufacturer focusing on high quality craftsmanship, using organic and sustainable materials to locally fabricate custom furniture and accessories for our trade clients and the general public. At Form + Function we can proudly say that all of our production and finishing happens right before your very eyes in our Los Angeles workshop.
This way we are confident that you are getting quality products handmade by our skilled artisans who also call Los Angeles their home. We strive to build long-lasting furniture that can be passed down for generations, all while remaining true to our environment. By using FSC certified hardwoods, all natural materials (organic muslin, organic cotton filling, jute webbing), and of course being built in Los Angeles, we are leaving as little carbon footprint as possible.
Although we value and specialize in a traditional approach to furniture building and upholstery, such as 8-way hand tie and low-impact materials, we can also do standard upholstery.

As a designer, it's great to have a place to go to get your designs made from a smart team.
So far, 2 sofas, 3 sectionals, a bed & a dining table.
So much easier than shopping around town.
Their lead times are very reasonable too.
Most of my projects are in LA, so it's pretty cool to keep this as a local resource.
I had several pieces of furniture made in addition to a few vintage pieces re-upholstered and drapes and pillows made.
I was very happy with the quality of workmanship, communication, and service.
