When you choose to go with Deep Rooted Woodworks to build your dream piece of custom furniture, you can be assured that we will not only create your vision with precision but will only be using the highest-grade material.
We use wood that has been kiln dried to the exact moisture content (6-8%) which is needed to provide a stable, quality piece of workable wood.
In most situations we will flatten your slabs not only once, but twice to ensure a truly level surface.
This is combined with hours of very intentional sanding and preps the surface to take the finish that will seal it, preparing it for generations of use to come.
