Ghost River's goal is simple: to build pieces that elicit our sense of adventure. Our pieces offer a modern-rustic feel, utilizing western design aesthetics coupled with clean lines. Our signature timber, blue stain pine, is native to western North America. The result of the Mountain Pine Beetle epidemic, the varying blue hue unique to each piece epitomizes not only the harshness of the region, but also its indomitable spirit.
Our Emerald Ash collection follows a similar storyline, utilizing hardwood affected by the Emerald Ash Borer. We believe the use of these two timber varieties says as much about us as our designs, not only adding to the story behind a piece, but also hearkening back to a time when little was wasted, and quality craftsmanship was a basic tenet of business.
