My goal at Sprankle Custom Works is to create custom pieces for your home that will last generations. I am highly detail-oriented so you can rest assured that every piece is designed and built to the highest quality standards. I work with wood, steel and more. After graduating from NC State in 2014, I quickly realized that sitting at a desk wasn't for me.
I began as a trim carpenter in Charlotte, NC and immediately began investing in tools and building furniture on the side. Before I knew it, I couldn't keep up with orders and decided to take the operation full-time. I also managed to squeeze in building a tiny home in Colorado during this time.

Each piece is fully custom in terms of wood species, dimensions, finishes and minor design changes.

I most frequently work with red oak, walnut, poplar and pine.
I also work with steel and personally fabricate the bases on the Inverted "U" Style Tables and "U" Style Tables.
Red oak and walnut are excellent hardwood choices that are both gorgeous and can take a beating (within reason of course).
However, my main focus is on the pieces found in the main gallery with listed prices.

All frequently touched surfaces that are left natural or stained are then sprayed with high-quality varnish to a smooth texture.
For the rustic style, tooling marks and natural imperfections are left to add character and to help blend wood movement with the less moisture-stable pine and douglas fir.
These are available on any painted piece.
