Furniture Creative Coworking is a unique shared workspace in Denver's Highland neighborhood housed in the former Denver Fine Furniture building. Brought to life by founder, Jason Wedekind, Furniture is meant to combine the energy Jason experienced when part of a larger design firm with the entrepreneurial "hunger" that comes from being self employed or with small firms.
It's a unique environment that brings a sense of legitimacy to your workspace. Currently housing graphic designers, interactive designers, a software developer, a video producer and a custom invitation designer, we are seeking other creative types to join us. The name Furniture comes from coincidence: the building was most recently used as Denver Fine Furniture, a furniture store launched to cater to the Hispanic tastes of the neighborhood in the 1970s.
Furniture is also the name given to wooden blocks used to lock up moveable type in letterpress printing. With a working letterpress shop in the back of the office, we thought it only appropriate to keep the name!
