Hello, my name is Austin, and I'm addicted to potential. When I look at a dated piece of furniture, a drab room, or a house left untouched for years, I can't help but imagine how I can help improve it. Over the years, I've discovered that art and design are the areas where I can truly express myself. I find myself itching to go to "work" when that work involves holding a paintbrush, finding and flipping fun vintage pieces, decorating, or transforming, well, anything.
My passion for design started before I can remember. I was creating sample designs of my bedroom's color schemes at 10, and saving money to buy furniture shortly thereafter. Vintage pieces, upcycled furniture, design ideas, and more!

What is your process for refinishing?
Essentially, the process is as follows, but varies from piece to piece: Stripping; Sanding; Repairing; Painting / Staining; Sealing.
Sealing - Using 2-3 coats of a sealing agent to protect the piece, depending on the finish you'd like to achieve i.e.
