He not only instructed in all phases of furniture refinishing/repair, but also about work ethics, disciplines, customer service.
I still remember the first project I worked my first day on the job: a rocking chair painted with 3 coats of paint, "years later I learned why he started me out with that project."
Yes, the work is dirty/messy and still requires much good old fashioned elbow grease and sweat.
Even today in the age of electronics and technologies, all phases are still done by tedious hard work.
