In fact, Kevin grew up with a hammer in his hand.
From there, he grew up working on 4H woodworking projects, industrial art shows, and state woodworking competitions -where he won 3rd place for a round walnut drop leaf end table.
Still, this magical piece sits proudly in his shop, as a reminder of how much he's always loved his craft.
Since 2001 Kevin has been serving homes, businesses, and houses of worship in and around SE Minnesota and NE Iowa area with custom designs.

Rustic hickory wave cutting board.
Sometimes the wood tells you what to do.
This beautiful rustic hickory had a crack down the middle so I split it apart and used the outside edges to build this gorgeous piece.
Measures approx.
15"w x 22"l x 3/4"thick.
The same hard maple as the Kitchen Basic except this light edition is 1/2 the thickness which means it weighs less.
Measures 12"w x 16"l x 3/4"thick.
This cutting board is a little different.
A walnut burl is wrapped by 1/4 sawn maple.
Walnut splines are visible at the joints on the sides and serve as both beauty and function.
