Dungey's Furniture & Floors continues to honor the family legacy started by Everett Dungey in 1963 at his "Bargain Barn" at 960 East Main Street in New Hampton, Iowa.
Everett's two sons, Mark and Trace, took over the family business in 1983.
Four years later they opened a second store in Osage, Iowa to better serve Northeast and North Central Iowa.
Dungey's was temporarily located in the old Soy Basics outlet on Industrial Avenue in New Hampton, Iowa on the West end of town.
A 25,000 square foot building is now open at 904 Canty Avenue located behind McDonald's.
