We do everything we can to make a piece of furniture that you will cherish for years to come. We discovered George's Furniture while at the Hershey RV show, Fall 2016. When ready to purchase our new table and chairs this Spring, we had no other place in mind, as we LOVED how easily this table extends and retracts. The craftsmanship is second to none on both the table and chairs.
The wood, the finish, all worth the trip out to the showroom and workshop.

Services
George's Furniture is a second-generation family-owned business located in the farmlands of Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.
Our furniture is still made the old-fashion way - handcrafted by artisans that take great pride in the quality of their work.
There is no shortcut to quality.
Each piece of furniture is handcrafted right in our workshop then signed by its maker.
There is no factory assembly line - just skilled craftsmen who lovingly follow each piece from the selection of the lumber to the final detail.

Building top-quality, handcrafted furniture is not just a seasoned skill-it's an unwavering commitment to delivering superior quality to our customers.
It begins with harvesting native trees at the right time, and the specifications we give to the sawmill.
But most important is the drying of the lumber.
We slow dry the rough-sawn lumber in our own kiln to reduce stress cracks that can occur in the grain if dried too quickly.
Moisture in the wood can over time lead to loose joints, splits, and warping.

Experience the quality of custom handmade furniture while the pressing questions are answered by knowleable craftsmen.
I visited twice and each time they spent time showing me examples of what I was interested in and answering my questions without any pressure to buy.
They also answered further questions over the phone to make sure I was clear on my order.
The table and chairs were delivered when promised.
The wood, design and craftsmanship are beautiful.
We purchased our first piece of furniture from George Martin back in 1974 and filled our home with many over the years.

When preparing a wedding registry, you think of things like measuring cups and spoons, flatware, dinnerware, a Kitchen-Aid mixer, laundry baskets, and other necessary household items.
Although these items are important and certainly necessary, an important, overlooked category on the wedding registry.
Many couples hesitate to ask for larger-ticket items such as a bed, a desk, bookshelves, sideboard, or a dining room table.
They don't realize that friends and family want to "pool" their funds to provide the newlyweds with a larger, long-lasting and more exciting gift.
