Arts & Crafts Furniture, handmade one piece at a time, has been our focus since 1984. Dryad Studios has capably reproduced hundreds of original pieces. We now focus mainly on our own designs, incorporating a wide range of traditional and innovative elements. Our work includes all of the familiar Arts & Crafts styles, including Mackintosh, the stronger forms of the "Mission" and "Craftsman" lines, and a broad range of other innovative furniture concepts.

Our shop is just a short drive from Eureka Springs, Arkansas and Branson, Missouri. The shop, studio, and our home, are built on a 160 Acre Tree Farm that has been under continuous management by us since 1978. We are about 7 miles from the canoe and cabin rentals at Ponca and Boxley Arkansas, and the Upper Buffalo Wilderness Area. This area is located at the Headwaters of the Buffalo National River, famous for it's scenery, canoeing, and back country hiking through the adjacent Ozark National Forest.

Since 1984, we have made thousands of pieces of all styles of Arts & Crafts furniture for individuals, antique collectors, antique dealers, interior decorators, designers, architects and restoration projects.
Services
We bring to our endeavors in furniture making a commitment to the principles, ideals and craftsmanship established in the formative period of the Arts & Crafts movement that is rarely found in any other furniture maker, large or small.
We rely on tasteful design and uncompromising craftsmanship to define our view of the past and the future of the Arts & Crafts Movement.
Our furniture will continue to enhance lives long after we are dust.
We regard the privilege of affecting your life by our work with the utmost seriousness.
We love what we are doing, and you can depend on our full effort with your project.
Arts & Crafts designs.
We can fill your clients rooms with Mission furniture of unmatched quality.
For private individuals, without the assistance of a designer or decorator, we can help you translate your dreams into a room setting that is a functional work of art.
We relish being asked to do the difficult.
And we have been tasked to do the near impossible.
All of the pieces in the "custom work" section were difficult.
I just saw the best idea that I have seen in a long time.
That is music to our ears.
We will immediately discontinue making our cribs with drop sides.
We will increase the number of adjustment points on the mattress, to give a greater degree of height adjustment.
The top and bottom mattress position will still adhere to federal regulations.
We have disliked drop sides from the start.
They are cumbersome, dangerous, and the hardware has gotten more and more flimsy.
Good riddance.
Our pictures will begin to accurately reflect the actual look of the cribs when we make a run of the new style.
We can work from a picture, designers' drawings, or generate our own graphics.
Our shop only produces about 200 - 300 pieces of Mission furniture a year.
Each piece is hand built from the log up.
We select grain matches from our storehouse of 5000+ bd ft of kiln dried wood.
Personal attention is paid to every piece throughout the construction process.
We have our preferences for finishes, but are able to finish with any material, as the situation demands.
Our finish is the finest available, and has been recognized as such by some of the most prestgious Woodworking publications.
Well, the tables made it a day early and they are even more breathtaking than I imagined!
The tabouret is a peach, if the other one is still available, I want it.
You can wait to send it with the end table if that's okay.
I can send you the money for it now or we could settle up all at once when the end table is ready.
Thanks again!
I unpacked part of the bed last night (still waiting for the mattress) and it looks beautiful.
The work you all do is truly art!
YES! Everything is great.
Picked up the table this weekend and it's very nice.
