Guests of Crystal Bridges American Museum of Art were excited to contribute to a sculpture by artist Robert R. Norman, Sphere XOX, which was installed near Leo Villareal's Buckyball sculpture where it remained on display for two weeks.
Signature to his style, Norman transformed ordinary sticks into an illuminated masterpiece that awed the crowd.
The creation of the sculpture was motivated by the desire to bring people together, to give them the opportunity to create a unique part of a structure representing our connection to each other and the whole.
